Menopause can be a nightmare.

Whereas Ashwagandha can be a dream come true.

It’s the best natural remedy for menopause relief. I know because I was suffering from menopausal symptoms until I discovered Ashwagandha.

My nerves were frazzled after many hours of brainstorming for retirement.  Even though this was our plan to create a business plan for retirement, it caused a lot of stress. The daily grind was getting to me.  A lot was going on.

Everyday dealings with family seemed to create unnecessary drama. My irritability intensified along with my mood swings. My system was out of kilter – much the same way as when your period is on its way.

I was crying more often and having embarrassing menopausal meltdowns.  It wasn’t pretty.

It was not a legacy that I wanted to leave!

The vision of me as a menopausal wreck was unacceptable. I took action! Although, a couple of questions came to mind.

“Are there any effective natural solutions for menopause?

“If so, what would I take?”

I had tried Black Cohosh for hot flashes and night sweats without success.  With that said, I began my internet search with a healthy dose of skepticism. I prefer natural remedies over prescription drugs, and I’m interested in Ayurvedic medicine. 

Determined to find a solution,  I Googled, “natural and Ayurveda”.

Ashwagandha repeatedly came up in my searches.

Ashwagandha is a powerful herb with a long history of use in Ayurvedic medicine.  It’s a plant or root native to the dry regions of India.  Ashwagandha is a centuries-old natural remedy for common complaints including menopause.

  • anxiety
  • lack of focus
  • swelling
  • joint pain
  • and to prevent the effects of aging.

It wasn’t a big “wow” moment. I describe it as if you have a headache, take an aspirin, then sometime later realize your headache is gone.
